Looking for a minimally invasive way to improve your smile? A great option for many patients is Invisalign. Invisalign, called “clear braces” by some, is a treatment which moves teeth using a series of removeable, clear aligner trays. Average treatment time is 9 months and can be used to correct crowding, close spaces, improve bite, and set teeth in a more favorable position prior to other cosmetic treatment, such as veneers.
In our office, patients interested in Invisalign are given a complementary 3D scan using our iTero and evaluation, allowing Dr. Hauswirth with map out the best treatment plan for each individual patient. Patients are able to see the recommended course of action from beginning to end of treatment using our ClinCheck software.
Once a patient decides to commence Invisalign treatment, we will typically see them for follow-up every two months to make sure things are progressing as expected. After a patient is done with treatment and is happy with their final result, Invisalign retainers, called Vivera, are made from a new 3D scan.
In June 2022, our entire office spent a week in Raleigh, North Carolina learning the most sophisticated techniques in treatment at Invisalign’s headquarters. Dr. Hauswirth spent many hours with colleagues from around the country trouble-shooting cases and learning the best ways to get the most predictable outcomes in the shortest amount of time.
